The Crew

Also, straight from the band:

The Crew has just recently been recognized in the local scene of Twinsburg. That’s probably because the band wasn’t formed until recently (in March of this year to be exact). The band started of as the duo of Kyle Fadeley (Guitar) and rapper Michael Stover (aka Sto aka Defender of the Art). The two wanted to perform at the Coffee For A Cause charity event at the Twinsburg Library in March of 2009. Kyle had been in several bands before and Michael had been rapping for almost a year. Second rapper Brandon Ivey (aka Master B) came along to give the duo that extra edge with his no holds bar lyrics. However the band was still missing a drummer, this is where Drummer/DJ/Keyboardist Alex Kloss came in and pulled all the members together to make that would change music forever. Alex Kloss has a lot of talent making beats using Ableton and is a DJ that can make very nice sounding cuts. Combining rock and hip hop with lyrics that will make the crowd think the Crew is a band that wants to change music. The Crew have one song “The Crew Debuts” which they performed at Coffee for A Cause. The beat to that was created by Michael had a strong resemblance to The White Stripes song “Black Math” even though Michael had never heard the song in his life. The song ended up being a hit so The Crew happily (I mean very happily) accepted the invitation to play at Twinstock. The Crew’s sound varies, they can do hard-core rap, hard-core rock and everything in between the key is don’t get this band confused with Linkin Park or Hollywood Undead they sound nothing like either of those bands, The Crew have their own unique sound that all music fans will enjoy. The key to The Crew’s sound is the lyrics they use in their songs. Both rappers Brandon and Michael hate mainstream rap (which is evident in their music) and their trying to change people’s stereotypes of rap by having a more positive sound. Michael is actually a Christian Rapper and Brandon takes a more underground approach to his lyrics. The Crew intends to unveil six new tracks at Twinstock.

Eclyptic

After much ado and persuasion, we have finally managed to secure one of the most popular local bands in the Kent/Cleveland area: Eclyptic. Eclyptic won the Tri-C High School rock-off a few years back and have been playiing lots of shows all over the area since. Everyone here doin' the whole Twinstock thing is very much honored to have them onboard, as well as the rest of the bands, who will be posted very soon.

Aevory Nash

Another band onboard. Straight from them:

Aevory Nash formed in the fall of 2007 as the backup band for Brian Campbell. After much hard work and preparation, the 4 then-college students spent 24 days touring all of Europe, making friends and sharing their music. After performing for a total of over 3000 people, Brian Campbell and his band returned to the States with a new vision. The band was renamed "Aevory Nash" and the band's musical style evolved from pop-rock to a more raw alt-rock sound. In the summer of 2008, Aevory Nash recorded it's first EP, "The Legend of Aevory Nash" and played more shows, expanding their network and forming relationships with fans and other bands. In the fall, after their second drummer unexpectedly quit, Aevory Nash went through another growth period, struggling to play shows nearly every weekend with backup drummers. Through this stressful time, the remaining members of Aevory Nash showed their determination to continue as a band. In the spring of 2009, as the original bassist also left the band, Brian and Dan met Garrett and Matt, who shared Aevory Nash's passion and vision. As the summer of 2009 approaches, Aevory Nash is poised to step it up a notch, play more shows, meet more people, and do greater things.
